Greylin was a river in the far northwest of Rhovanion in Middle-earth.
Greylin, that flowed from the Grey Mountains in the north, was one of the two tributaries (the other being the Langwell river) that formed the Anduin river. The next tributary of Anduin to the south from the Misty Mountains was the Rhimdath.
History[]
The ruins of Framsburg lay near the Greylin's confluence with Langwell.[1]
Etymology[]
Greylin was a Rohanese word that meant "Grey-torrent".[citation needed]
