A multi-layered love story to an indifferent LA, the musical and jazz genres, and filmmaking, carried by leading performances and fairy tale direction. The movie has great dialogue but is at its best when when it lets the music convey the emotion. The post party scene and the planetarium are 2 of my favorite scenes in cinema.
