The Boppenheimer day has come to a close.

Oppenheimer is talky, ambitious and lengthy, yet heavy and visual spectale of a horrible creation. Murphy and Downey. Jr are easy standouts, the former just has these eyes of pain and regret that say so much without any dialogue. Nolan's direction and his style of editing, to convey Oppy's mind is fascinating.

Goransson's score is majestic, best of the year worthy for now, and no matter the format, and in classic Nolan fashion, LOUD AS FUCK.
