Another viewing and I feel that Emilia Perez hits some emotional points. It’s uneven and aims for a lot there is a hit and miss element to it but I was mostly feeling the direction it was taking . Then there was the last thirty minutes and it fell apart for me. I liked trying to make a difference but can’t escape your past? Maybe that’s the message? Either way it lost me in the final act.
