This was DRA 👏 MA 👏 TIC!
I think at times it was trying to do many things at once but for the most part, it was creative and intriguing.
The musical element did occupy a good amount and it was integrated throughout the story (talking right into singing) with good choreography. My favorite number was “El Mal” and my favorite song was “Papa”.
Absolutely worth checking out for anyone who is a fan of musicals and telenovelas.
… but I gotta say, Zoe Saldaña‘s eyebrows were DISTRACTING and Selena Gomez’s character SHOULD have connected the pieces a LOT SOONER than when she did. I mean C’MON!
