I really appreciate what this movie was trying to do but, I just dont know…. It looked great, had some very good camera work, and solid performances but as a person who loves musicals, I don’t think this needed to be one😭. A lot of the songs sounded like they had the same melody and tempo… it just wasn’t working for me on that end sadly.
Very interesting to watch how polarizing this movie is becoming…. Even more interested in seeing what happens here with awards season
