Really wanted to like this 😞. I just found it extremely generic and derivative unfortunately. Nothing here I haven’t seen in another film before. The comedy is also VERY targeted towards children. Which is understandable but the best animated films find a way to balance comedy for all ages and there’s none to be found for adults here. The animation, direction, and the score are all great, but that’s about it.
