Midgets in this Everyday Life! (この日常に小人を！, Kono Nichijō ni Kobito wo!) is the seventeenth chapter of the KonoSuba Nichijou manga series.
Summary[]
Kazuma heads to Wiz's Shop for reclaiming the problem child who Vanir wants gone, yet he cannot see Aqua despite hearing her proclaim her desire to stay and play. He is then shocked to see a shrunken Aqua waving at him from a model house missing one wall atop the counter, so at the instructions of Vanir who wants more people for testing it out, Kazuma extends his hand into the space occupied by the model, following which he finds himself shrunken next to Aqua.
Initially excited, Kazuma then chides Aqua for her idea of munching on a cookie now humungous to them because it'll make her fat, despite liking the thought himself. Aqua then tells a surprisingly compliant Vanir to hand her the cookie, yet discovers to her great dismay that it also gets shrunken once entering the space of the model. Vanir accordingly laughs at her disappointment, and easily blocks a diminished blast of Sacred Exorcism.
Kazuma who wants to leave then steps out of the model house by the way of the side missing a wall, only to find himself still small, at which Vanir theorises that this prototype model is flawed, much to the shock of the shrunken pair. Aqua though gets mad because she could have just walked out of the model to eat the cookie, and as she argues with Kazuma over the subject, Wiz returns to become bewildered by the scene.
It turns out that exiting the model house through its front door can revert them to normal, so as Aqua misses the giant cookie, Kazuma rages at Vanir for keeping that fact a secret. Vanir however expresses his delight at the small emotions of rage, though he passes on those inedible ones emitted by the goddess, inciting Aqua into a frenzy, which Kazuma and Wiz try to calm her down from.
