A Trial in this Everyday Life! (この日常に裁判を！, Kono Nichijō ni Saiban wo!) is the eleventh chapter of the KonoSuba Nichijou manga series.
Summary[]
Kazuma Satou is becoming accustomed to his life in Parallel World, where he defeated monsters and Generals of the Devil King with his party members, broke the curse on his companion, and keeps running into all kinds of excitement. The same Kazuma finds himself in jail for treason after the lie detector forced him to speak his true mind as well as stand trial, and has to rely on his companions to act as his defence attorneys.
Back at the party's mansion, Aqua suggests that they practise for the trial, with her playing the judge, Megumin playing the local lord, and Darkness playing the defence attorney. Acting as the rumoured corrupt lord, Megumin demands an immediate execution under charges of treason for sending a bomb to his home, before Darkness reminds an Aqua who gets influenced to ask for evidence. Megumin proceeds to cite Kazuma admitting to feeling her breasts while carrying her, as well as him eating the sweets she and Aqua hid. The latter statement prompts an enraged Aqua to declare a death sentence, as she joins forces with Megumin to tell the protesting Darkness how Kazuma had committed a grievous food-related crime.
Next they have Megumin playing the judge, Darkness playing the local lord, and Aqua playing the defence attorney much to Darkness' uneasiness. Darkness then starts out by stating how endangering a feudal lord amounts to treason, when Aqua suddenly shouts out an "Objection" just for the heck of it, which irritates Darkness but impresses Megumin, who after pulling herself together asks for Aqua's response to the charges. Yet Aqua instead points out that Kazuma as a NEET is too cowardy to personally commit treason, thus he should be seen as the mastermind especially when he had instructed Wiz to Teleport the Coronatite, which triggers a furious Darkness into yelling at her for admitting guilt.
Megumin subsequently tries yelling out "Objection" while making a cool pose, so Aqua proposes that they all practise "Objection" for scaring their opponent into backing down. Pressured into joining, Darkness joins the other two with repeated "Objection" practice, something all three of them find satisfaction from.
On the day of the trial, when Kazuma notices his party members sitting as his defence, he gets disheartened upon hearing Aqua proudly declare how she and her two embarrassed companions had extensively practised their "Objection", and sees nothing but execution in store for him.
