The Sturdy Plating is a Material Resource used in upgrading armors from level 6-7. Its finite recipe, made from Sturdy Marble Shards, can be unlocked after finding the Black Anthill Chip and buying the recipe for Mighty Globs, but its renewable recipe is locked fairly late in the game behind the Stump Chip.
