Rock Lobster by The B-52's is featured in The Hurt Locker, Part One, the fourth episode of Season Six. It is sung by Vocal Adrenaline, with Clint singing lead.
After Will is fooled into believing Rachel sent Sam (under Sue's hypnotism) to steal his mail, Will decides upon not holding back at the invitational and allows Vocal Adrenaline to go full throttle against the New Directions and Warblers, beginning their performance with Rock Lobster.

- This is the fourth a capella performance on Glee which is not done by The Warblers, the first being Rolling in the Deep, the second being How Will I Know, and the third time being Longest Time.
- This is the first time Vocal Adrenaline has ever done a capella.
- In Transitioning, Spencer refers to Vocal Adrenaline as "rock lobsters" because of this song.
- This is the second of the two songs by The B-52's sung in Glee, the first one being Love Shack.
- Coincidentally, both are group numbers.
