At Last by Etta James is featured in A Wedding, the eighth episode of Season Six. It is sung by Artie and Mercedes.
They sing this song before when the brides are about to walks down the aisle. Tina and Mike share glances while Sue comes and sit down in the back row. Brittany shows up with Kurt by her side, surprising everyone. Then Santana comes after her with Blaine. Both Kurt and Blaine wear wedding tuxedos, not the white one they used previously. Everyone comes to happily realize that it is going to be a double wedding. Artie and Mercedes ends the song and everyone applauds, as Whitney states that Pierce is still in the bathroom, missing the aisle walk.
Lyrics[]
Mercedes:
At last
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Yeah, yeah
Artie:
Mmm, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
Mercedes:
Wrapped up in clover, baby
Artie:
The night I looked at you (Mercedes: Oooh)
Hey,
Mercedes:
Ohoo
I found a dream, (Artie: Oooh)
Artie and Mercedes:
That I could speak to
Mercedes:
A dream that I can call my own (Artie: Call my own)
Artie and Mercedes:
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
Mercedes:
A thrill that I (Artie: A thrill that I)
Artie and Mercedes:
Have never known
Mercedes:
Yeah, yeah, yeah (Artie: Oooh!)
Artie:
You smiled
Mercedes:
You smiled (Artie: Oh)
Artie and Mercedes:
And then the spell was cast
Mercedes:
Yes it was... (Artie: Yeah)
Artie and Mercedes:
And here we are in heaven
Mercedes:
Oooo,
For you are mine...
Artie:
For you are mine
Artie and Mercedes:
At Last (Artie: Oooh)
Mercedes:
Yes you are (Artie: Mmm)
You're mine (Artie: Uhh)
At last
You're mine
Artie and Mercedes:
At last, ooh
