Artie auditions for the glee club along with Tina after being dared by her goth friends. During his audition, Will writes down "Great Voice", "Soulful" and "Need Ramps" in his note. After the performance, Will applauds Artie and he goes back to Tina.

- Some lyrics were cut from the song, while some were altered due to explicit language. However, the word "horny" wasn't changed in Baby Got Back.
- This is Artie's last solo in the series.
- However, this is, chronologically, his first solo in the series' timeline.
- Since Artie's audition song had never been seen or mentioned, Kevin McHale had previously suggested that Pony would be a good audition song, and thus the writers decided to use it. Source
