Mickey's New Car is a 1999 cartoon starring Mickey Mouse from Mickey Mouse Works. It was first shown during the premiere broadcast of Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You and was later featured as part of the show's second episode.
Plot[]
While driving to pick up Minnie for their date, Mickey's faithful car breaks down so he buys a new futuristic car. The new car proves to be a bigger problem than his old one. The car even dumps Mickey on the side of the road. Later, he goes back to get his old car, but someone has already bought it. That someone turns out to be Minnie and the two go on their date.

Trivia[]
- The new car may still be owned by Mickey, because it reappeared in House of Mouse episode "Max's New Car" along with the new car itself, which takes Max for a wild ride. Meaning, in the end, he never sold the car, but never used it again in the Mouse Works shorts.
- On a similar note, when the short ends on that episode, instead of showing the audience cheering, Minnie asks Mickey "Whatever happened to that new car anyway?", which he responds with unsatisfactory "I don't know, and I don't wanna know. That car was trouble!"
- The short is similar to the Pixar short "Mike's New Car" as the main characters (Mickey and Mike Wazowski) buy new cars to replace their old ones only to cause problems for them throughout the short.
- At one point when the new car goes out of control, it is shown crashing through ten danger signs. The signs say "STOP", "DANGER", "TURN AROUND", "YIELD", "HEY", "THESE SIGNS", "ARE EXPENSIVE", "SO STOP", "RUNNING", and "OVER THEM".
- Additionally, when Mickey approaches the sign that reads "HEY", it is yellow, but when Mickey runs over it, it turns orange.
