Minnie Visits Daisy is an animated short originally featured in Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Minnie decides to visit Daisy and bring one of her "famous" apple pies, but she can't seem to get Daisy's attention when she comes knocking on the door.
Plot[]
Minnie is at home preparing an apple pie, when she finishes it the phone rings and she answers it, Daisy is actually the one who was calling, Minnie tells Daisy that she had just prepared her famous apple pie while Daisy comments that she had never tasted a famous apple pie and Minnie agrees with her saying that she will bring her right now for her to taste it and Daisy accepts.
Upon arriving at Daisy's house, Minnie knocks on the door, but Daisy does not answer her because she was watching television as Minnie saw her from the window, when Daisy just hears her, Minnie goes to the front door just as Daisy opened the door, when she touched the back door, it was the same as the previous one. While Minnie wonders where Daisy is listening to her play music with some drums, Minnie knocks on the window, but Daisy rejects her and continues playing her music until everything becomes a rhythm, Minnie goes from behind again and tries to ring the bell but only served as a music pass for Daisy who was not listening, Minnie steps on a glass bottle package just as a musical touch, while Daisy kept playing Minnie makes another attempt to use two trash cans as cymbals for her friend to hear, but she stops when Clara Cluck sees her with the two cans and nervous Minnie tells her that the doorbell doesn't work.
When Minnie is about to leave and when she sees the apple pie, she wondered if she should be furious and decides to herself that she should be more angry, what she did not know was that Daisy had gone up to the roof and started listening to music, Minnie runs showing her anger and knocks loudly on the door, but Daisy ignores her, seeing Daisy on the second floor, she is going to pick up some things to form a garbage tower to get to the roof, but when she arrives, Daisy accidentally spills a bit of sunscreen that lands on Minnie to which she slips and falls on all the garbage, finally lands on the car that she had used as bait and drives without any reason towards the shore of the beach, Minnie even more annoyed says that she would deliver the cake and who plans to do it.
Minnie tries to climb the stairs with a vine of roses, but to make matters worse, Daisy looks at one of the roses and rips it off so that Minnie does not reach the top and causing the vine to unravel and the ladder to break leaving only its supports and making poor Minnie use them as support to avoid falling, after being knocked over by a big wave, Minnie gets up very angry and angrily shouts "I've had it! This pie is just deliver now!" She drives her car towards the house furiously without realizing that Clara Cluck had seen everything and was calling the police thinking that Minnie was robbing the house, finally Minnie reaches the second floor, but before giving her the apple pie, she arrives. She is unexpectedly arrested by the police and despite protests from herself, Daisy wakes up from her trance and looks around, but does not see Minnie's car on the roof.
Once Minnie and the apple pie are arrested, Minnie calls Daisy who is at the police station and comments that she did not understand that why she broke into her house, Minnie tells her that she had tried to deliver the apple pie. But she didn't hear it, Daisy asks her if she has it to which Minnie gives her what she deserves for not listening to her: slamming the apple pie into her face and making fun of her by asking her if it was good. Daisy is disheartened by the karma she got and the segment ends.

- This cartoon is one of those rare moments where Minnie Mouse is the one that gets all the comical abuse and even ends up being arrested, a fate that is not often shown with her.
