Mickey's Airplane Kit is a Mickey Mouse cartoon made by Walt Disney Television Animation, originally aired as part of the third episode of Mickey Mouse Works. Sort of a color remake of Mickey's very first cartoon, Plane Crazy, it was later included in the House of Mouse episode "Donald Wants to Fly".
Plot[]
Mickey orders a do-it-yourself airplane kit as a special surprise for a date with Minnie. Rushed for time, he ignores the instructions and pays a bitter price when the plane falls apart during their date.

- The short's plot is based on "Plane Crazy", while also incorporating some plot elements from "Boat Builders", most notably in Mickey's unsuccessful attempt to assemble the do-it-yourself airplane kit.
- Ironically in this episode, Mickey seems to did not learn his lesson from assembling the boat in "Boat Builders", as the airplane that Mickey assembled in a rush falls apart when Mickey and Minnie fly on it for their date.
