The Genie of the Ring was a character who was going to appear in the 1992 Disney animated feature film Aladdin. He was going to appear in the film, but was cut in the final version of the film.

In an early concept of Aladdin, there were going to be two genies like in the original story - the genie of the lamp and a genie of the ring. Not much is known about the genie of the ring. According to Streetrat.net, Jafar would have gotten his hands on the ring and used the genie against Aladdin. Such is not the case as an early script written by Howard Ashman suggested that the Genie of the lamp was to be stolen by Jafar. Aladdin, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, and Abbi run from an ensuing mob all the way into the Cave of Wonders where Aladdin finds the ring that he had neglected from his previous adventure. The genie of the ring helps Aladdin and his friends as part of the song High Adventure. At the end of the script, the Genie becomes the Peddler, who appears in the final film.
