Tom Chereck was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 11 of the Oregon State Senate.
Chereck was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 22 of the Oregon House of Representatives.
Biography
Chereck earned his A.S. in Landscape Management from Portland Community College in 1986. His professional experience includes working as a Plant Healthcare Technician at Rasmussen Spray Service, as an area service representative for ProGrass and as a spray technician for Nitrolawn and as a landscaper for the Oregon Womens Correctional Center.[1]

Elections for the Oregon State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Peter Courtney was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Patricia Milne defeated Tom Chereck, Jr. in the Republican primary. Courtney also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. Courtney defeated Milne in the general election.[2][3][4]
