|I’m a conservative Republican and a businessman, entrepreneur, engineer, and problem solver. I have years of experience in budgeting, planning, team building, negotiating and obtaining results. I’m a Christian family man who has lived in this community for 25 years and have volunteered hundreds of hours in community service. My values include: Ensuring parents control their children's education; Protecting the 2nd Amendment; Standing up for small business; Protecting the unborn; Supporting our police and defending victims' rights; growing Oregon's economy; Promoting agriculture, Preventing government overreach; Promoting active Forest Management.
- I am an experienced and results-driven problem solver.
- I passionately care about the community and the people's needs.
- I will stand up for the values of our district in the legislature.
Education: Parents have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing and education of their children. I want to end the woke policies and ensure that our children and grandchildren have the skills needed to be successful and patriotic citizens.
Law and Order: We need to stop the encroachment of Portland politics that are bringing rising crime and lawfulness to our streets. I will support our police and support the victims of crime.
Small Business: I am going to fight executive overreach, onerous regulations and unfair taxes that stymie growth and hamstring our businesses. I will be the voice of small businesses in Salem, including our farming and timber communities.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
