Latoya Joyner (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 77. She assumed office on January 1, 2015. She left office on January 8, 2024.

Joyner (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 77. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

On January 4, 2024, Joyner announced she was resigning from the New York State Assembly District 77 to accept a private sector job.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Latoya Joyner defeated Carlton A. Curry, Verdell Mack and Sherisse Palomino in the Democratic primary, while Esperanza Reyes Acosta was unopposed in the Republican primary. Benjamin Eggleston ran on the Conservative Party ticket. Joyner also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. Joyner defeated Acosta and Eggleston in the general election.[6][7][8]
