2016
Three of the seven seats on the Magnolia Independent School District Board of Trustees were supposed to be up for by-district general election on May 7, 2016. The election was canceled, however, due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Deborah Rose Miller and Gary Blizzard were unopposed in their bids to keep the Position 2 and 3 seats, respectively, and newcomer Kelly McDonald was the only candidate to file for the Position 1 seat.[1][2]
