Hubert Vo (Democratic Party) is a member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 149. He assumed office in 2005. His current term ends on January 14, 2025.
Vo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 149. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Vo has worked many positions, including assembler and quality assurance specialist, busboy, convenience store clerk, cook, data technician, goldsmith, machinist, steel worker, and waiter.
He is a member of the Alief Super Neighborhood Council, Alief Young Mens Club of America Board, Houston Apartment Association, Houston Association of Builders, Houston Association of Realtors, and Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Those candidates who did not receive 50 percent or more of the vote in their party primary on March 4 faced an additional May 27 primary runoff. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in these elections was December 9, 2013. Incumbent Hubert Vo was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Al Hoang defeated Nghi T. Ho in the Republican primary. Vo defeated Hoang in the general election.[6][7][8]
