Jeff Waldstreicher (Democratic Party) is a member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 18. He assumed office on January 9, 2019. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Waldstreicher (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Maryland State Senate to represent District 18. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Waldstreicher is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 18 from 2007 to 2019.
Biography
Jeff Waldstreicher lives in Kensington, Maryland.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Emory University and a law degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Waldstreicher's career experience includes working as pro bono counsel with the Sierra Club.[2]

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbents Al Carr, Ana Sol Gutierrez and Jeff Waldstreicher defeated Natali Fani-Gonzalez, Rick Kessler, Elizabeth Matory and Emily Shetty in the Democratic primary and were unopposed in the general election.[3][4][5]
