Biography
Diedra Greenaway earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from California State University, Northridge and master's degrees in business administration and healthcare administration from the University of Maryland.[3]

|I served as a contracts and vouchers auditor for the U.S. Department of Defense, (DCASR). I have continued serving on the state and local level of government. I am a retired Advisor from California State University, Northridge where I also served as a Union Steward for Academic Professionals of California (APC Unit 4). My background at the local government level includes serving as the Vice President of Northridge East Neighborhood Council, and elected as the Los Angeles City Budget Advocate, I this position, I made recommendations to a $9 Billion City budget and worked towards improving the services for the stakeholders within the City and County of Los Angeles. I have an extensive background in healthcare and education.
] I earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Health Science from the University of Maryland. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and post graduate education in gerontology from California State University, Northridge

I look up to my parents and all of my military family. They tought me how to trumph over adversity; loyalty and duty to fulfill my obligations. They taught me to treat peple with respect; serve with selfless service; present with honor and lead with integrity. I take these lesson with me through life, along with a few others.
My mother was United States Air Force; my brother was United States Army; All four of my uncle's were Army and served in Vietnam. Two of them received the purple heart. My aunt and grandmother were Navy and my grandfather was Army.

Governors assume tremendous responsibility becoming the spokesperson for the entire state. The governor also holds great power over the legislative branch and therefore, a good working rapport is necessary. However, with this being said, a good legislator, accordingly, has to be relatively independent of the governor in order to serve their district well
Yes. our commonality should be serving those who voted us into office. Unfortunately what we are seeing now is a vast and growing political polarization which in my opinion, is hurting communities. Nothing more sharply divides people than politics, so in addressing this issue, we need to work towards building cohesive groups
