Taare Zameen Par (Every Child Is Special)
"Taare Zameen Par" was an interesting film about a child with difficulties with learning named
Ishaan Awasthi. Ishaan's parents, other kids, and teachers at his school didn't seem to think much of
him since he was always misunderstood. Teachers in school find it difficult to relate to him, believing
that he was simply insane, lazy, and rude. They made no attempt to investigate the reason behind the
child's academic struggles. In addition, he was often bullied by other kids since they thought of him as
an idiot. Ishaan's father finds it difficult to understand why he is not like his brilliant elder brother. His
father then sent him to boarding school because he noticed little improvement in his grades and
believed that Ishaan was a rebellious and lazy boy who needed to be disciplined. However, he was
unaware that Ishaan would become more emotional and anxious of social interaction after being
separated from them. However, with the arrival of teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh, he saw that Ishaan
was acting strangely. Teacher Ram was quite interested in learning more about Ishaan's history. He
questioned a student about Ishaan's struggles with dyslexia and looked through some of Ishaan's past
books. Little did he know that Ishaan was intelligent and gifted but also suffered from dyslexia. I respect
instructor Ram's reaction to Ishaan because it demonstrates his genuine concern for kids with unique
needs. Because of his time, effort, patience and care, Ishaan regains his passion in painting and that
also motivates the child to study hard and never quit.
After watching "Taare Zameen Par," I was moved by how powerfully the story showed Ishaan's
struggles and successes. I was moved by the movie in several ways, including feelings of empathy,
reflection, and a fresh understanding of the variety of human situations.
In conclusion, "Taare Zameen Par" is not just a movie, it's an important reminder of the
importance of empathy, openness, and creative thinking in education and society. The film encourages
us to look at past appearances, appreciate variety, and create a loving atmosphere where every kid
may shine with its sad story and charming characters. As I consider the important lessons presented in
the film, I am reminded of the ability for compassion to change and the endless potential that each and
every kid has, regardless of their circumstances or differences.
