    Silangan Elementary School held student government elections on February 28, 2018. There were two parties vying for positions: MAASAHANG BATANG LIDER (MBL) and AKTIBONG MASISIKAP NA KABATAAN (AMK). Both parties campaigned from February 19-27, conducting room-to-room campaigns and participating in a presidential debate. On election day, students voted by writing the names of their preferred candidates on ballots prepared by the COMELEC election commission. Votes were counted by grade level after all students finished voting to ensure a smooth process.

    Supreme Pupil’s Government is a school organization whose purpose is to train the


    pupils to become a better citizens in the future and to develop pupils skills and abilities in
    achieving quality education and academic excellence through cooperative works among themselves
    in achieving their goals.
    The SPG election started with filling of certificates of candidacy last February 19,2018
    and on February 26-27,2018 was the campaign period. There were
    two parties aiming for the positions, “MAASAHANG BATANG LIDER (MBL) and AKTIBONG
    MASISIKAP NA KABATAAN (AMK). Both parties worked hard to earn favor from their co-pupils.
    Campaign materials are posted to the different designated areas.
    Each of the pupils were given limited time to have their campaign.
    They are all given a chance to do room to room campaign as well as a short
    Presidential Election Forum was done during that day..
    Campus Wide Presidential
    and Vice Presidential Debate
    And last February 28,2018 the said SPG Election was done during that
    day. Pupils will write the names of the candidates they want to vote on the
    election ballot prepared by the COMELEC. The Officials of this election
    assisted each and every pupils. The election started at exactly 1:00 pm and
    right after each of the pupils done voting the counting of votes followed.
    The ballots were placed according to their
    grade level. And for a smooth flow of election,
    the pupils will vote accordoing to their grade
    level. The outgoing SPG Officers assisted the
    Comelec Officials.
