    ACTIVITY: 2022 CLEAN-UP DRIVE

    PARTICIPANTS: SJNHS – Manguino-o Annex Teachers and Learners
    DESCRIPTION: A clean-up drive for the benefit of the environment as well as promoting and
    raising awareness of the significance of environmental cleanliness in line with
    creating a conducive learning environment for the learners and in the
    community.
    OBJECTIVE/S: To ascertain the purpose of the event, the following objective was formulated:

    a. To secure a clean environment, pollution free surroundings


    b. Promoting and adopting an eco-friendly and environment-friendly
    school
    c. Encourage adoption of practices that promotes cleanliness and
    orderliness of the surroundings
    RESULTS: The following were the results on the conduct of the event:
    1. Everyone was briefly educated about how imperative to maintain
    cleanliness of environment
    2. Cited practices that will further enrich the adoption of an eco-friendly
    environment
    3. Organized a clean-up drive to kickstart an environment-friendly
    school for the benefit of the learning environment and the community
    PARTICIPANTS  Active involvement of participants is evident during the conduct of the
    FEEDBACK: clean-up drive
     All learners are highly cooperative towards attaining one goal
     Everybody is elated to see their environment one step higher to
    achieving an eco-friendly environment
    METHODOLOGY:

    “You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the
    world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide
    what kind of a difference you want to make.”— Jane Goodall

    Irrefutably true, deciding what impact we would have on something,


    may it be a small or big decision, will affect the world today, if not, sooner.
    Amazingly, this decisively big “impact” has now been started by the little
    workers of San Joaquin National High School – Manguino-o Annex – its Eco-
    Warriors, the learners.

    Armed with one true goal, the ardent desire of the faction to seek for a
    cleaner, eco-friendly environment has commenced as they scavenged their
    barangay, Brgy. Manguino-o, to look for a place to leave their footprints.

    Before setting the eco-trails, the Manguino-onian armada conducted


    first a simple program prior to the conduct of the activity. It started with a
    song for country and followed by a morning praise to God Almighty led by
    the eco-mentors Mrs. Analisa G. Ostulano and Mr. Richard H. Toliao, Grade
    9 and Grade 8 advisers, respectively. To check the participation of everyone,
    Mrs. Catherine C. Jabelo, Grade 7 adviser, don the attendance. Mr. Jonathan
    B. Bulawan, the SSG Adviser, gave the rationale of the clean-up drive to
    headstart the purpose of the activity. To lift the eco-spirits of the learners, Ms.
    Marissa B. Suspeñe, Science subject teacher, welcomed everyone.

    After all generic parts of the program were done, the Eco-Warriors of
    the school now trailed to the agreed place where they will leave their
    footprints for the next generation to continue. This feat seeks not only the
    cleanliness of the surrounding but also maintaining a conducive learning
    environment for the learners in lined with the school’s partnership with the
    local community where the school is found.

    At the end, only a rejuvenated place was left where the Eco-Warriors
    battled fiercely in ascertaining the purpose of their activity. Various feedback
    and thought-sharing happened once they were back at school. The day ended
    with the versatile school head, Mrs. Sonia C. Cupla, giving her parting
    message and appreciation to one and all.

    MANAGEMENT OF THE The activity was managed and directed by the versatile school head of San
    ACTIVITY: Joaquin NHS - Manguino-o Annex, Mrs. Sonia C. Cupla, and also the
    cooperation of each teachers.
    LOGISTICS  Proper coordination was implemented for the successful conduct of
    ARRANGEMENT: the activity.
     All needed materials/equipment were set before the conduct of the
    activity.
     Performing the tasks given in a guided manner and as set by the chief
    coordinator was also observed.
     All the participants were already informed ahead of time.
