SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT
FLAG RETREAT, MARCH 31
I. Introduction
The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) led the flag retreat
ceremony on Friday, March 31, 2023. Dom Kerby P. Balignasay, the President of
the organization, together with his officers and members, headed and monitored
the ceremony.
II. Description
A flag retreat ceremony every Friday is conducted as an expression of
nationalism and as a constant reminder for employees, teachers, staff, and
especially students. One of the most active and prominent school organization in
CBNHS Poblacion, Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O)
spearheaded the last flag retreat of March.
III. Purpose
In line with one of the DepEd core values, MAKABANSA, the Flag Retreat
Ceremony or the lowering of the flag is extremely important because it shows our
love for our country and is one way to honor the sacrifices of those who died
protecting and defending our country. The Flag Retreat Ceremony or the lowering

IV. Impact
The consistent implementation of the Flag Retreat Ceremony enhances the
behavior of students through monitored flag ceremonies. It strengthens students'
patriotism and motivates them to participate in such formal activities with modesty
and discipline.
V. Conclusion
The different school organizations and clubs will continue to diligently
implement flag ceremonies in order to improve student behavior and patriotism.
