MEMORANDUM
TO CID CHIEF

1. In response to the call of the Department for a review of the K to 10 learner's materials
(LM’s) and textbooks (TXTs) through DM-CI-2018-00-361 and Unnumbered Reg’l. Memo
dated October 1, 2018; this division requests all responsible members of the school and
district Learning Resources Design and Development Team (LRDDT) to support and
facilitate the activity.
The objective of the review is to validate the reports on errors in learning resources used in
our schools. Criticisms of which are most often circulated in social, print and broadcast
media.
The composition and functions of the Review Team by level are enumerated below:

- School Head- Chairperson -Reviewers must accomplish one form for each LMs/Text per
School - Master/Key Teachers as learning area & grade level based on assessment checklist.

- PSDS - Chairperson reviewing the same LM/TX.
Members: -The reviewers should discuss and agree on the comments to

Region V is assigned to review Kinder to Grade 3 LMs in Bikol for the following Learning
areas: Mathematics, Araling Panlipunan, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, Mother Tongue,
Science (Grade 3) and MAPEH (Grade 3). Template is attached to this memorandum.
5. District reports (in hard and soft copies) should be submitted not later than October 16,
2018 to the LRMDS/CID Office for validation and consolidation,

4. Consolidated report which will be submitted by district to the respective Learning Area

5. District reports (in hard and soft copies) should be submitted not later than October 24,
2018 to the respective Learning Area Supervisors for validation. Education Program
Supervisor shall be responsible to consolidate the inventory of the teaching resources for
his/her subject area and transmit the report to the LRMDS Supervisor on or before
October 29, 2018.
