Terry Lily Hwang
Terry Lily Hwang is a San Francisco native who continues to be raised up by her city’s tradition of artistry and resistance. As a creative and dancer, language and movement are her tools for expression. She works across media — she has contributed her personal essay work in "Chrysanthemum: Voices of the Taiwanese Diaspora"; her art prints have been shown on the gallery walls at Rare Device; and she has danced in immersive theater at Bindlestiff Studio, among other projects. By day, she is Senior Strategist at Otherwise, a Filipina-owned communications shop + creative studio serving social changemakers in racial and environmental justice, financial inclusion, community investment, culture, media and representation. Her work is grounded in the belief that beauty is a fundamental human right.
