How to Make Baked Spaghetti

You'll find a detailed ingredient list and step-by-step instructions in the recipe below, but let's go over the basics:

Baked Spaghetti Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make baked spaghetti:

  • Noodles: Of course, you’ll need spaghetti noodles.
  • Beef and onion: The meat sauce starts with a mixture of ground beef and diced onion.
  • Sauce: A jar of meatless spaghetti sauce is the convenient secret ingredient. You can use homemade sauce if you want to go the extra mile.
  • Salt: Seasoned salt enhances the overall flavor.
  • Eggs: Eggs lend moisture and help hold the baked spaghetti together.
  • Cheeses: You’ll need Parmesan, mozzarella, and cottage cheeses.
  • Butter: Melted butter gives the dish extra richness.

Allrecipes Community Tips and Praise

“Very good,” raves one Allrecipes community member. “ It makes a lot but it will be great for leftovers! I used Italian sausage, but it would be good as the recipe is written with ground beef or maybe even ground turkey.”

“Took a chance making it for the first time AND giving it away,” says another community member. “Made the recipe as written but used two 8x8 dishes instead of a long pan. Worked out perfectly. Will definitely make this again for company. Tastes amazing and so easy!”

“I made this last night for my family and it was awesome,” according to The Flag Chick. “I also made garlic knots to go with it.....all was super yummy. Will be making this again.”
