Uki (ウーキー Ūkī?) was a Madalan from Celestia, and was a minor antagonist in Versus.

Appearance[]

Similar to the other Madalans, Uki possessed a smooth, amorphous body with a heart engraved on its chest and a circular head that levitates without a neck. In addition, Uki had a small spherical shape on the left side its head and its eyes were mostly closed.

Personality[]

Like its fellow Madalans, Uki exhibited a lack of remorse toward other beings in the world, consistently prioritizing their own objectives above all else. Uki also liked to occasionally comment on events, such as when their mini ships were called to the battlefield and Uki complained if it was necessary, and when Kiva called for reinforcements and Uki pointed out that there are more demons now. Uki has also expressed surprise when Galua's "Pew Pew Pew" technique was nullified by Kiva, as well as when their massive space warship was destroyed by Daikokuzan, or when Pow crashed into the ground due to the mega kaiju.

Uki expressed supreme confidence in its abilities as a superior organism. When questioned by Jachi whether Uki was responsible for the massacre of the demon army, Uki instantly tried to kill Jachi simply because he couldn't be bothered to speak with an inferior creature. Once Jachi begins to overpower Uki's regular form, the Madalan transformed into its Space Plate: Shinra state to overpower Jachi and sully the demon's prideful attitude. However, when faced with Jachi's true power, Uki's confident demeanor disappeared. After taking a single blow from Jachi, it immediately attempted to flee and request backup. Even after having been beaten and brought to a near-death state, Uki expressed disbelief that a primitive organism could outmatch the Madalan. In its final moments, Uki entered its Space Plate: Brawns mode to battle Jachi and establish its superiority over the demon before being killed.

Plot[]

Demons vs Aliens Arc[]

When a demon refuses to answer Galua's question, Uki kills it and questions their ugly design.[1] Uki then prompts Galua to stop and begin interrogating the demons.[2] It questions the need to bring out mini ships after.[3] It is surprised to see the ship get destroyed and is curious about the Kaiju's nature.[4] It then cleans up the demons alongside its partners once they decide to finish their business before retreating.[5]

Demon Lord Arc[]

While doing research on the demons and Daikokuzan in the remains of the human base, Uki sees Gori's corpse fall and approaches it before Jachi arrives on the scene. Jachi, noticing the corpses of his demon army, asks Uki if it was the one who killed them. Uki responds by saying it had no time to spare conversing with the weak and fires an energy ray that does not harm Jachi whatsoever. Uki immediately understands Jachi is a level above the other demons as they begin to fight, destroying the environment around them. Uki notes Jachi's tremendous power and believes him to be the king of the demons. The Madalan then launches a sweep of attacks that do almost no damage to Jachi. Nevertheless, Jachi is impressed by Uki's strength and is curious to see what else the alien can do. Their battle continues as they exchange blows, and Uki is hit by a punch that cracks his head.

Realizing Jachi is stronger than Uki's current form, the Madalan rushes backward to activate his Space Plate: Shinra. Uki creates a distortion of gravity via a singularity to pull Jachi in, then follows up with a spacial distortion to pummel Jachi with several blows. Uki throws the miniature singularity into Jachi's stomach, causing the demon to sink into the ground, before summoning its space monsters to consume Jachi's body. Uki remarks that the Space Plate is strong, though using it causes serious damage to the environment the Madalans are investigating, meaning it's a last resort Uki prefers not to use. The Madalan understands that it has to inform Galua of the demons, but Jachi emerges from the ground. The demon removes his armor, which had been suppressing his power, causing the Madalan to realize Jachi had been toying with it this entire time.[6]

Growing nervous, Uki unleashes a repulsion distortion to push Jachi away. The demon king wonders how the Madalan is capable of these attacks without any mana and decides to replicate the pulling aspect of Uki's previous attack by taking a deep breath. Uki is rapidly pulled toward Jachi before the demon slams Uki into the ground with his fists. Uki quickly recognizes the danger it is in and attempts to flee. The Madalan tries to contact Galua and ask for backup, but before Uki's message can be sent, Jachi catches up to his opponent and jabs Uki in the stomach before punching Uki across the face. Jachi's punch causes Uki's head to crack open and sends it crashing into the ground. Severely weakened and forced back into its regular form, Uki is in disbelief that a primitive species of Earth could ever best the Madalan. Jachi lifts the ground with a kick, following up with a jab then a flurry of high-speed punches to mock the Madalan's previous attacks. Uki is left in a near-death state as Jachi remarks on how interesting the world has become. However, Uki stands up, using the last of its strength with the Space Plate: Brawns, but before Uki can resume the battle, the Madalan receives a blow from behind by Ginbak, dying instantly.[7]

Abilities[]

As a Madalan, Uki is an incredibly powerful being. With minimal effort it could annihilate an army of lesser demons alongside its fellow Madalans, and when pressed to fight seriously it could battle on par with Demon King Jachi.[8] Upon transforming, Uki was capable of pressuring Jachi, forcing the Demon King to remove his mana-draining armor. However, once Jachi unleashed his full power, Uki was incapable of matching the demon and was swiftly defeated. Uki was also killed in a single blow by Ginbak in its Space Plate: Brawns mode, though the Madalan had already been critically damaged by Jachi by this point.

Physical Abilities[]

  • Immense Strength: Uki could clash fists with Demon King Jachi, causing an enormous explosion that devastated the area around them just from the impact of their punches colliding.[8]
  • Immense Speed: Uki can travel at very high speeds, matching Jachi's punches when they exchanged blows. Upon transforming, Uki's speed increased, allowing it to unleash a much faster barrage of punches against Jachi in tandem with its spacial manipulation abilities. Uki can travel large distances in a split second, as shown when Uki attempted to flee from its battle with Jachi.
  • Immense Durability: Uki's compressed informational body is remarkably durable. Uki in its regular form could withstand numerous blows from a casual Jachi before transforming. After Jachi removed his armor, Uki endured several punches from the demon, though Uki was left in a near-death state.
  • Immense Endurance: Uki possesses a high level of endurance. Despite being outmatched by a full-power Jachi, Uki could still survive his onslaught of blows, and even after being hit point-blank by a barrage of high-speed punches from Jachi which nearly obliterated Uki's body, the Madalan still had enough energy to transform into its Space Plate: Brawns mode before being killed by Ginbak.

Supernatural Abilities[]

  • Flight: Due to its nature as a Madalan, Uki is capable of flying through the air at incredible speeds.
  • Energy Projection: Uki is capable of emitting beams of energy from its body.[9] These beams of energy are capable of creating massive explosions with ease.
    • Pew Pew Pew: One of Uki's special moves, which involves firing beams of light from its eyes. Uki utilized this move in the form of a large beam of energy against Jachi.[9]
  • Electricity Generation: Uki can generate electricity as a form of attack.[9]
    • Zap-Zap: This special move creates a burst of electricity from the heart symbol on Galua's chest, electrocuting its enemies.[9] It was first used against Jachi.
  • Water Generation: Uki has the ability to generate water from its body. Uki will release the water at high-speeds to overwhelm its enemies with the high pressure of its attacks.[10]
    • Splash Splash: This special move has Uki generate a high-pressure burst of water from the heart on its chest.[10] This move was used against Jachi as a high-speed water jet which sent the demon crashing into the ground.
  • Space Plate Transformation: Like all Madalans, Uki possesses the ability to transform its body into an empowered state known as Space Plate. Uki's Space Plate allows it to can change into multiple forms depending on the Madalan's needs and preferences in battle. Each form gives Uki certain unique abilities.
    • Space Plate: Shinra: Uki's first space plate transformation. This form grants Uki heightened physical abilities, though its primary advantage is the power of gravity and space granted to the Madalan.[11]
      • Gravity Distortion: Uki manipulates gravity by creating a singularity in the palm of its hand, drawing anything nearby into its gravitational pull.[12] Uki can also throw the singularity at its opponent as a form of attack, which causes the singularity to sink into the earth to drag Uki's opponent with it.
      • Space Distortion: In conjunction with its power over gravity, Uki's space plate transformation allows the Madalan limited control over space.[13]
        • Space Distortion: Fast Forward: One of Uki's special moves. Utilizing its control over space, Uki significantly increases its speed in order to deliver extremely high-speed punches at its opponent to overwhelm them.[13]
      • Repulsion Distortion: Just as Uki uses gravity to draw opponents in, Uki can also use its power to push its opponents away.[14] Generating a sphere of energy from its hands, Uki forces its opponents away through repulsion in order to damage them while creating distance between them.
      • Space Monsters: In this form, Uki can generate several monsters from its body.[15] These monsters appear as worm-like, eyeless creatures with a set of razor-sharp claws and teeth. The creatures will attack any opponent which Uki commands and attempt to rip the enemy apart with their jaws and claws.
    • Space Plate: Brawns: Uki's second space plate transformation.[16] This form enlarges Uki's body significantly, allowing the Madalan to tower over Jachi in stature compared to its regular form. With this transformation, Uki's physical abilities are presumably augmented to a far greater degree than its other forms. However, the full extent of this form's physical power was never shown since Ginbak killed Uki before the Madalan could use the form against Jachi.
