Animation of the Platinum Bow.

The Platinum Bow is a bow crafted solely using Platinum Bars, and is the strongest type of ore bow one is able to obtain before Demonite or Crimtane. The Gold Bow is its slightly weaker counterpart available in worlds that generated with Gold Ore instead of Platinum Ore. Its sole purpose is to fire arrows from a distance to hit enemies and deal damage to them.

Its best modifier is Demonic, as it does not have any knockback and thus cannot get modifiers that affect it. It can also get the Deadly modifier, which, while the Demonic modifier may provide the greatest damage per hit, grants a higher increase to the overall DPS.
