Tips[]
The Keybrand's ability to do more damage against previously injured targets makes it an exceptionally good choice against slow-moving, high-health targets such as Nailhead or the Ogre.
Trivia[]
- The Keybrand is based on the Keyblade, a weapon used in the action role-playing game series Kingdom Hearts. It bears an uncanny resemblance to the Keyblade named the Kingdom Key, which is the default, signature Keyblade wielded by the series protagonist Sora.
The Keybrand's visual effects when striking enemies are likely a reference to similar bright effects that appear when striking enemies with the Keyblade throughout the Kingdom Hearts series.- The Keybrand's critical hit damage modifier is 13. Thirteen is a special number in Kingdom Hearts, which means how much people conform "The Organization XIII".
- The Keybrand deals a maximum of 150% additional damage for a total of 250%. This is a reference to the name of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix.
- Despite being a key, it does not unlock anything.
- The Keybrand is functionally the opposite of the Breaker Blade, as the Breaker Blade deals more damage to undamaged enemies.
