The Iron Broadsword is an early game metal sword. It is more powerful than the Copper and Tin Broadswords, but slightly less powerful than its alternate ore version, the Lead Broadsword. Like all broadswords, this sword is swung in an arc motion, which is more useful for killing flying and jumping monsters than shortswords.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
