Pat-Tron[1] is a robot who appears in The Patrick Star Show, debuting in the episode "Lost in Couch." He is the robotic assistant of Captain Doug Quasar.
He has since also made an appearance in SpongeBob SquarePants, first appearing in the episode "Welcome to Binary Bottom." In this episode, he lives next to SquidBot, just like Patrick Star lives next to Squidward in Bikini Bottom.
Description[]
He is a transparent robot with a pink outline that resembles Patrick Star. In "Too Many Patricks," his design is updated so that the glass behind his head is visible. He is usually seen in the S.S. Super Minnow ship with Captain Doug Quasar. His home planet is Tron-tron, and he has a family that mirrors Patrick's.

"Welcome to Binary Bottom"[]
SpongeBot comes over to his house, saying that he's going to work. Pat-Tron wants to go with him to fuel up, but goes to recharge mode before going. He later appears as one of the citizens taken over by Sandroid.

"Lost in Couch"[]
Aboard the S.S. Super Minnow, Pat-Tron receives a call from Captain Doug Quasar telling him that he locked himself out of the ship. Pat-Tron tells him that he cannot because the captain always has his keys with him, but they are still in the ship as he hangs up. Then he wonders if the real captain is lost and goes around looking for him.
"Terror at 20,000 Leagues"[]
Pat-Tron wakes Quasar up and serves him breakfast, then makes a bowl of Logic Loops for himself. An alien invader is hiding in the box, but Pat-Tron mistakes it for a baby and cares for it. When it grows bigger, he hugs it, but ends up getting eaten whole.
"Just in Time for Christmas"[]
Pat-Tron is shown helping Quasar prepare for fighting against some wild trees. He offers him his Laser Phaser, but Quasar arrogantly claims that he does not need it. Patrick arrives in his time closet, looking for a gift to give Cecil. Pat-Tron gives him the Laser Phaser, kisses him because of his mistletoe hat, and then sends him away. Quasar, being beat up by the trees, begins shouting for Pat-Tron to give him the laser. Pat-Tron nervously backs away.
"Mid-Season Finale"[]
Pat-Tron is one of the Patricks seen in the waiting room. When caveman Patrick is chosen, the Patricks all start fighting. Pat-Tron is seen firing a laser beam at a nearby jester Patrick, and is later crushed by a stampede of ballet dancing Patricks.
"Shrinking Stars"[]
He and Captain Quasar arrive to the Star family house to be interviewed by Patrick on his show. After Patrick tells a joke, Pat-Tron starts laughing too hard, making him glitch. Patrick goes inside of him to fix him, which fails. Pat-Tron then catapults Patrick out of himself, noticing that his shrink ray got stuck to Patrick's head. Pat-Tron chases after him to get the ray back, which shrinks the entire Star family on the way. Later, Patrick gives Pat-Tron his ray back, but he accidentally shrinks the latter. Noticing the shocked reaction of the audience, Pat-Tron and Quasar immediately leave the scene.

Pat-Tron can be seen among the Patricks from across time that the time closet creates.
"A Space Affair to Remember"[]
Pat-Tron is one of the alternate versions of Patrick who shows up to his and Squidina's house party. Patrick plays spin the bottle with him.
"The Patrick Show Sells Out"[]
In an episode of Captain Quasar sponsored by the Krusty Krab, Pat-Tron and Quasar visit a Krabby Patty-themed planet. Pat-Tron samples some Krabby Patty plants and eats a lot of them, but begins overloading from the flavor. Suddenly, Plankton appears, calls out Krabs' shilling, and takes control of Pat-Tron's body. He blasts a laser at Quasar, throws him away, and changes the scene to Pat the Hapless.
"The Starry Awards"[]
A picture of Pat-Tron and Quasar appears when Patrick shows the nominees for Best Cutaway Segment. However, they lose to Dr. Plankenstein, SpongeMonster, and Pat-gor.
"Blorpsgiving"[]
Pat-Tron is going to visit his family on the planet Tron-tron for Blorpsgiving. However, he first messes up Quasar's negotiation with the leader of the Saladrian empire, forcing them both to evacuate. Pat-Tron welcomes his family and relaxes, then eats dinner with them. Throughout the visit, Quasar tells Pat-Tron that he does not fit with his family. When Quasar is in danger, Pat-Tron rescues him and takes them back to their spaceship. Quasar thanks him and suggest that they visit his family instead next year.
"The Patrick Show Cashes In"[]
Quasar tries to sell Pat-Tron on Squidina's shopping network. During the demonstration, Pat-Tron blasts his lasers at Bunny's meal, Cecil and his car, and GrandPat's pants. Quasar begs the audience to take Pat-Tron off his hands, even offering to pay them instead.
"Dr. Smart Science"[]
He is seen playing Pong on the S.S. Super Minnow's computer. A screen alerts him of an anomaly with the planet Saturn, so he tells Quasar, and then puts Saturn's location on display.
"Chum Bucket List"[]
Pat-Tron makes a brief cameo with Robot SpongeBob in the "World of Friendship" song.
"Big Baby Patrick"[]
He appears as a baby in Captain Quasar in Diapers. Quasar tells Pat-Tron to pull a lever and fire a laser at King Saladrian, but he is too short to reach it. They team up, with Pat-Tron lifting Quasar up to the lever, allowing him to pull it.
"Star Cruise"[]
Quasar alerts Pat-Tron that Cecil has crashed his car into their rocket ship.
"Too Many Patricks"[]
Pat-Tron is hired by Patrick to attend parties. He shows up to Shady Shoals Rest Home and performs stand-up comedy jokes, telling jokes that infuriate and offend the elderly people there. Later, Patrick makes him attend many parties, including a hoedown, which ends with him getting repeatedly stepped on. He then fights Patrick for the right to host the Patrick Show, but is sent back to his regular time period.
"5 Star Restaurant"[]
He is summoned to the Krusty Krab from the time closet as a customer. He is seen arm wrestling the buff Patrick from "The Fry Cook Games," only to have his arm slammed so hard that he explodes.
"Time to Eat"[]
Quasar calls Pat-Tron to help him operate a console to make lunch, which he does by slamming his head against the controls. When Patrick arrives, he samples a lot of Quasar's dried food pellets. Pat-Tron advises him to wash them down with water, making Patrick inflate and fill the entire ship. Pat-Tron ejects the food out of his body and is sent into space.
"All Bot Myself"[]
When Pat-Tron's stupidity ruins Quasar's chances at fighting the Saladrians, Quasar fires him for good, sending him crashing back to the Earth. Pat-Tron cries at not feeling needed, and the Star family takes him in. Pat-Tron's attempts to help end up causing much pain to the family, to the point that when Quasar wants Pat-Tron back, they are relieved to be rid of him. Pat-Tron defeats his replacement, Smart-Tron, by giving it a violent massage like he had done to Quasar. Quasar hires him back aboard the ship.
"Something Stupid This Way Comes"[]
Pat-Tron accidentally blows up the ship's defense systems after making nachos in them, and fires at the mail truck. When the mail arrives, he learns that his grandfather Grandroid has passed away and they have to spent a night in his haunted mansion to claim a million dollar inheritance. Once they arrive, Pat-Tron goes to bed, but is possessed by a virus in the mansion's circuitry and attacks Quasar. Pat-Tron is freed when the plug the virus used to travel into him is pulled out.
Quasar and Pat-Tron go to the mansion's boiler room to reboot the mainframe. They are safe for the rest of the night and Grandroid gives them their inheritance as promised. However, Pat-Tron forgets to reset the mansion's orbit, sending it falling into the Sun.
