The toy robots are small and teal. They also have a wind-up key on their backs. They have a red antenna and a red blinker on the side of their heads. Their chest has buttons, wheels, and a rectangular green sensor screen of a sort.
Role in series[]
The toy robots are first seen as a merchandise item at the Toy Barrel. Earlier in the episode, Patrick winds one up and it walks off.
Later, when SpongeBob and Patrick are running from a "monster," it turns out to be the same toy robot that Patrick winded up earlier. SpongeBob and Patrick shoot bubbles at it, but they fail to stop the robot. SpongeBob and Patrick start crying, and the toy robot soon stops walking toward them, much to their relief. However, Patrick winds up the toy robot again, and he and SpongeBob run out of Toy Barrel, just as it's reopening.
The toy robots are later featured as enemies in Toy Barrel Peril.
