Nox is one of the playable Gods in SMITE.

Lore

So fragile is the line between sleep and death, the difference only waking with the dawn. In that darkness she reigns, as the sun sinks below the horizon, as stalkers hunt their prey, as shadows thicken to consume the light. She is primal in a way that even the mightiest of Gods must fear, for she is the Goddess of Night, Nox, and from her was born all the certainties of life.

Friendship and Love, Sunsets and Dreams, these are the Gods of inspiration. Nox is mother to them all. So too is she the mother of misfortune: Doom and Blame, Deceit, Strife, Woe and Death. Nox must love and protect all her children equally, as any mother would. They are her calling and her curse; her greatest pride and deepest shame. It is for her children she has now come to war.

Clothed not in black, but blackness, Nox is rarely seen. She glides between the light, just at the edge of vision. A specter. Even the God of Thunder is known to fear her, for Nox could steal his whispered breath and send him to a sleep eternal where dreams do not exist and no one ever wakes with the dawn.

Abilities

Passive - Flame of the Night Nox’s candles gather energy from all abilities she uses. For every ability Nox casts, a candle is lit. For every candle lit Nox gains +5% magical power. When Nox takes damage from an enemy god one of her candles is blown out. Notes:   Stacks up to 4 times for a total of 20% bonus Magical Power.   Ability Type: Buff Ability Video 1st Ability - Shadow Lock Nox extends her shadow forward, damaging enemies. If this shadow hits an enemy god it stops, rooting and crippling them in place and dealing damage over time instead. Nox must channel and stay within range to maintain hold on the target, but may cancel this ability early. Nox will continue to channel this ability even if she is hit by Crowd Control effects. While channeling this ability Nox suffers no directional movement penalty. Notes:   It isn't affected by crowd control reduction or diminishing returns.   Nox can move while channeling, but she'll be facing her target for the duration.   Instant cast relics can be used without interrupting it.   Can deal up to 120/160/200/240/280 (+80% of your Magical Power) damage to gods.   Minion Damage: 80/125/170/215/260 (+60% of your Magical Power)   Damage Over Time: 30/40/50/60/70 (+20% of your Magical Power) every 0.5s   Duration: 2s   Ability Type: Line, Crowd Control, Damage   Range: 65   Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana   Cooldown: 10 seconds Ability Video 2nd Ability - Siphon Darkness Nox creates a void of darkness that silences all enemies within. If she hits an allied god, she leaps into their shadow, traveling with them. When Nox exits a shadow, she deals damage again in a radius around her. Nox may cancel this ability early to exit shadows. Passive - Flame of the Night
	Nox's candles gather energy from all abilities used near her. For every ability cast near Nox (excluding her own) a new candle is lit. Once all 4 are lit, Nox's next casted ability costs no mana.		Notes:

Passive - Flame of the Night
	Nox's candles gather energy from all abilities she uses. For every ability Nox casts a candle is lit. For every candle lit Nox gains 4% damage mitigation. When Nox takes damage from an enemy god one of her candles are blown out.		Notes:   At max stacks, Nox gains 16% Damage mitigation.

1st Ability - Shadow Barrier
	Nox creates a barrier of night around herself that mitigates damage from the next hostile god ability that hits her. Basic Attacks from gods are also mitigated for the entire duration that the Shield is up. Nox is immune to Knockups, Roots, and Slows while this ability is active.		Notes:   The Damage Mitigation stacks with Flame of the Night's.   Does not protect from execute effects.

2nd Ability - Nightfall Raven
	Nox launches a raven that spreads night along its path. Every enemy it touches takes damage, is Silenced, and is Shrouded in Darkness. The Shroud of Darkness lasts for 5s.		Notes:

3rd Ability - Siphon Darkness
	Nox targets the ground and attempts to consume all darkness in that area. Enemies who are standing in the target area take damage. If a target is Shrouded In Darkness then it takes an additional +50% of the damage as bonus damage.		Notes:

Ultimate - Night Terror
	Nox launches her shadow forward hitting up to 3 enemy gods, dealing damage and shrouding them in darkness. While under the effect of Night Terror, enemies take 75% of this ability's damage every time they use an ability and Nox's other ability cooldowns are reduced by 5s. After the Terror ends, enemies will take 75% of this ability's damage and are stunned for 1s.		Notes:
Damage: 150/160/170/180/190 (+75% of your Magical Power) (Also dealt each time an enemy casts an ability while affected by Night Terror.)		Ability Type: Line Target
