2009 Nintendo Power Awards

The 2009 Nintendo Power Awards were the 21st annual awards published in the March 2010 issue (Volume 252) after listing the nominees in Volume 250. The Readers' Choice Awards were now presented on a separate page from NP's Choice Awards with the percentages of the votes represented with a pie chart for each one.

This time around, there was more of a divide between the NP's pick awards and the Readers' Pick awards, as most of the former went to New Super Mario Bros. Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, while most of the Readers' Pick awards went to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This is also the first time the Overall Game of the Year awards was given to a different game for each type of award.
