2006 Nintendo Power Awards

The 2006 Nintendo Power Awards were the 19th annual awards published in the May 2007 issue (Volume 215) after listing the nominees in Volume 213,

Continuing the previous year's trend of having a Readers' Pick and NP's Pick award for each category the 2006 Nintendo Power Awards were also the first year to celebrate the Wii due to its launch and most of the awards for the year went to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Of course, even with the Wii's launch, much attention was given to the Nintendo GameCube as well. As well as that, both of Nintendo's handhelds were given much of the spotlight.
