Doyle is a former FBI agent who was assigned to work on Wilson Fisk's protective detail. Doyle was eventually coerced by Fisk into working for him, and when Fisk was taken down, Doyle was charged as his accomplice and arrested.

Wilson Fisk's Accomplice[]
Doyle was present at Presidential Hotel, awaiting for the FBI convoy with Wilson Fisk, who was being relocated from Ryker's Island. The convoy was ambushed by the Albanian Syndicate, but Ray Nadeem and Benjamin Poindexter managed to bring Fisk, so Doyle accompanied them to the lobby. Passing by Benjamin Donovan and Nicholas Lee, Doyle and other agents escorted Fisk to the elevator to the high floor. Assigned to work on Fisk's protective detail, Doyle stayed to monitor the hotel lobby, and reported that no threats were detected.[1] When Seema Nadeem showed up to see Ray Nadeem, Doyle directed her to the agent.[2]
While on detail, Doyle and Wellers received a report about the attack on New York Bulletin, supposedly carried out by Daredevil. While Wellers complained about them being stuck on watching after Fisk, instead of helping with the investigation, Doyle remarked how calm Fisk is, no matter the chaos around him.[3]
While the FBI were working on Fisk's case, Doyle and a group of other agents were manipulated by Fisk into becoming his accomplice in his conspiracy to get back at the top of New York City's criminal underworld. When Fisk got out of the hotel to speek with the city's crime bosses, Doyle detected a blackout in the hotel, so he went to the staircase to check it out.[4]
Later, Doyle was assigned to streghten up the security around hotel, in the wake of Fisk and Vanessa Marianna's wedding. However, Doyle and other agents on guard were attacked by Poindexter in Daredevil's Suit, who was desperate to kill Fisk, and Doyle reported that Daredevil is en route to the ballroom. As Fisk was taken down, Doyle and other agents on Fisk's payroll were arrested by the police.[5]
Abilities[]
- Investigator: Doyle was a skilled investigator and usually was tasked with watching security cameras to make sure Wilson Fisk did not try anything. When there was a blackout at the Presidential Hotel, Doyle went to check it out. He also participated in other investigations by the FBI.
- Marksman: As part of his FBI training, Doyle became skilled in the use of regular firearms, and assigned a Glock pistol as his sidearm.
