Ghost Rider[]

Marvel's Ghost Rider centers on Robbie Reyes, the quintessential antihero, who lives on the Texas/Mexico border, consumed by hellfire and supernaturally bound to a demon. When he unleashes the Rider, Robbie brings vengeance for the innocents he encounters, but struggles controlling the power he wields.

Unknown Third Show[]

A third show with an unknown premise had been in development, with the trademark "Glyph" being filed around the time of the show's development suggesting it would have a focus on the hero of the same name.[1]

Unknown Fourth Show[]

A fourth show with an unknown premise was also in development.

Untitled Crossover Event[]

Eventually, the four shows would've culminated into a crossover event (similar to The Defenders[2]), where the team of heroes would face off against Lilith.[3]

Behind the Scenes[]

In an interview with Deadline, Jeph Loeb announced that the upcoming Ghost Rider and Helstrom TV series would be joined by 1 or 2 more interconnected horror shows on Hulu, under the banner of Adventure Into Fear.[4] Loeb stated that Ghost Rider would reference Robbie Reyes' role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..[5]

On September 25, 2019, it was announced that Ghost Rider would not going forward, as the creative team had reached an impasse which could not be resolved,[6] though other Adventure Into Fear series were planned- specifically at least two, each starring an unknown supernatural marvel hero.[7][8] Trademarks for "Glyph", the name of an obscure comics hero, And "Spirits of Vengance", possibly implying a show about additional Ghost Riders, had been filed around this time, suggesting a possible premise for these two unknown shows.[1] In addition, on the announcement banner for the franchise Elsa Bloodstone appeared, suggesting the fourth show could have starred her.

When Marvel Television folded into Marvel Studios, all series in development were cancelled, with the exception of Helstrom.[9] On December 14, 2020, Helstrom was cancelled by Hulu after one season.[10]
