An absolute mastery of visual creativity. The animation is just beautiful, and flawlessly captures the comic book aesthetic. It's all mind blowing and gorgeous, and a full course feast for the eyes. In addition, I feel that this film really understands the character of Spider-Man. To me, he is about the responsibility of being a superhero, and the cost and struggles that come with that. That's why he's always been so relatable to me. He's the most human. This story shows us that anyone can be Spider-Man, because it's not about the mask. It's about who's under it, and what they choose to do with it. The responsibility to do what's job, even if it means sacrifice, doesn't stop with Peter Parker. It can live in all of us. This is a wonderful, incredibly entertaining, stunningly gorgeous masterpiece, that will be remembered fondly for years to come.
