Happy holidays everyone!! I was hoping to get in a couple more Christmas films this year but it might be cut short, I’m pretty busy today and tomorrow, it’s officially Christmas 💁 But me having one choice of a Christmas film to watch, I wanted to watch an iconic one and one that is loved, and that was It’s a Wonderful Life.
Straight up, I think this may be my favorite Christmas film, at least one to watch by myself because this is so good. The story and everything, I love the story, and I love the way it’s told. A man is considering death, an angel has to watch this mans life and once it’s all caught up, has to stop and show him what a wonderful life he has. That’s my description of it at least and I love it, it’s amazing how it shows George’s life and all the happy moments and suddenly tragedy strikes, it gets pretty sad at that point.
But I think my favorite moment of all in this film are those last 20 minutes, I couldn’t wipe a smile off my face even if I tried to. I was just smiling and it felt so happy and joyful, like what Christmas feels like. The way this story is told is the best thing about this film, but those last 20 minutes solidified the 5 stars.
Like I mentioned it’s a fun film, but once that tragedy strikes it gets sad and once again becomes joyful, this may truly be the best Christmas film in my opinion, absolutely jolly, and I hope you all have a fantastic day today!!
