Imagine waiting 36 years for a sequel only to hear Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice lip sync “MacArthur Park” for what seems like the entire duration of the third act. But he remains committed to the bit, proving why he is one of our all time great actors.
Aside from too many plots not mixing well together, the return to the afterlife is a good time thanks to a pretty robust cast and Tim Burton seemingly having fun directing a movie for what feels like the first time since Sweeney Todd.
