Didn’t feel the “geuse” with this one.
I didn’t care for the original movie when I first saw it and the same can be said for this sequel. If you’re a fan of these characters and this world, I’m sure most will find it somewhat enjoyable. For me though, even with all the quirks, quips and the spontaneous fun Tim Burton tries to inject, I already feel this one leaving my mind. Pretty much everyone in the cast seems to be having fun, so that’s nice. Not much else to say, these movies just don’t do it for me.
Ok Michael Keaton, you had another go at Batman and now Beetlejuice. Leave the past where it belongs, in the past.
Can’t be the only one who thought Jenna Ortega’s character would have more of an edge to her? She’s more normal than I was expecting.
