It was such a joy to see Michael Keaton return as the notorious Betelgeuse. It compliments the original 1988 movie through light comedic tones, however this time it also tackles the passage of time with the importance of being able to accept growth and change. It did have slow moments at the start with subplots that were unnecessary.
The visuals are of high praise with the signature classic style of Tim Burton but with a complete and unique envisioning to immerse the audience into an eerie yet fun afterlife experience. It was worth the wait, although I need justice for Bob!
