    Good movie but I don’t understand why Kahlen didn’t say “more like De Schtinkel” every time Schtinkel insisted on the De. Just saying.

    Stupid review aside, Ann Barbara and Anmai Mus steal this thing. They’re fantastic. My main gripe is we never once see a cooked potato. Come on. Cook those potatoes Kahlen cares so much about!!!

    A really fucked up Icelandic tourism commercial.

    Can’t tell if I’m furious or impressed by the fact that the entire premise of this movie is a lie— those 7 photographs from the 19th century never existed!!! Hlynur Pálmason made em up! We were waiting for them when the credits rolled but they never appeared, and a quick google search left me weirdly steaming while also thinking “Palmason, you sly dog.”
