the best thing about this movie was Monica Bellucci showing up about 6 times
another director adding their very attractive actress girlfriend to show off, we see you
I don't know what the plot was for this sequel because of all of the sub plots, but then it's because they just make sequels full of nostalgia bait
call backs, references, similar shots and scenes, it's full of them
Winona Ryder has seemed to have played Joyce Byers for so long now that she seems to just play that character but with the same hairstyle from the first so we know who she is
what Willem Defoe had to work with wasn't funny after the first couple of lines
luckily Michael Keaton even at his age didn't seem to forget how to play Bettlejuice and gave it his all and I reapect that
Jenna Ortega is still over rated imo
Catherine O'Hara was funny at times but also still annoying
they could have left Charles' death out of it and only mentioned it but allowed images of the actor in it
now that's only some of the characters
the sub plots, there were so many that you end up forgetting about Astrid and Jeremy
you suddenly remember Delores last minute, for what? an abrupt death
the head shrinkers? what happened to them?
and the Beetlejuice baby? no need, just a great way to make money for merch, people will eat this shit up, well done
unfortunately this movie tried to fit in so much for it's runtime, as well as musical numbers and call backs to the original that it didn't land very well and felt like a mess for most of it
