A Bigger Boom

A Bigger Boom is an errand quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

Synopsis[]

After the work stoppage is lifted from Chainscrape, Aloy comes across a stall run by Delah and Boomer. Intrigued by their sales pitch, Aloy learns that the pair were close to improving a design of a Tenakth Spike Thrower by adding additional velocity to the throws and adding explosive tips. The only parts they are missing are Charger Horns and a Fanghorn Rib. Aloy agrees to gather the parts in exchange for obtaining the completed weapon.

After gathering the parts, Aloy returns to the pair who complete the Prototype Spike Thrower and gift it to her as thanks.

Trivia[]

Although Boomer directs Aloy to a Fanghorn east of Chainscrape, the Fanghorn Rib can be collected from any Fanghorn.
